Christine Bayles Kortsch, PhD, is a writer, teacher, photographer, mama, maker, and seeker. She is the author and photographer of Tiny Dino Worlds: Create Your Own Prehistoric Habitats (spring 2020, Roost Books) and Dress Culture in Late Victorian Women’s Fiction: Literacy, Textiles, and Activism (Routledge, 2009). She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Delaware and teaches Ink & Stem workshops (which combine contemplation, creative writing, and succulent design) at the Denver Botanic Gardens, makers’ studios, and retreats. She loves to find and create beauty in the mundane, poetry in the everyday.
