Jane Affleck is a writer, artist, and educator currently based in rural Prince Edward Island, Canada (PEI is called “Epekwitk” by the Indigenous Mi’kmaq, a name meaning “resting on the water”). Her writing has appeared in various publications, including This Magazine, The Great Lakes Review,C Magazine, The University of Toronto Quarterly, Kolaj Magazine, and The Side View.
