Steve lives in western Maine with his wife Amanda and their five children. He homesteads, writes, photographs, hammers away, slings babies and enjoys “gettin’ out in it” as much as possible. Steve has worked scores of jobs from his former life as a nomadic vagabond but considers none more fulfilling than his present and permanent post as “Papa.”

Stacy Brenner lives in Maine with her husband and two daughters. They raise vegetables and flowers on their organic farm. Stacy’s focus is on the flowers, which she arranges for weddings and other events. She also finds beauty in old wood, rusty metal, and all the fruits of her labor. Phoebe Wahl
Phoebe grew up unschooled in Washington state and credits her 'free range' childhood for much of her inspiration and work ethics. She graduated from RISD in 2013 and makes everything from tiny paintings to giant puppets. Her work revolves around themes of comfort, nostalgia and connection to nature and one another. Michele Graham grew up on a farm in the rolling hills of upstate New York, but has spent most of her life on the West Coast. Michele is a photographer, writer, and bookkeeper in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She loves researching American foodways, cocktails, and plants. Meredith is a photographer and freelance writer. She weaves stories from truth and optical illusions from images. Balancing the digital world with slow photography, she is happiest in her darkroom creating tintypes from silver and light. Linsey utilizes art in two ways—expression and investigation. When not pulling images and ideas from within, she uses art to inform herself as much about a subject as possible. Julia is an independent journalist, farminista, and micro-press publisher. Jennifer is a full-time artist and mother of two. She recently renovated an old house with her family and works from home in her downeast Maine studio. Holly is the artist behind Golly Bard. Her watercolor paintings are a quirky mix of imagery inspired by the curiosities of nature, time, the cycle of life, patterns, natural history, things in jars, garden maps, portraits and wallpaper.
