Skyler is a mixed-media artist living in Dallas, Texas. She earned her BFA from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. Her work celebrates the vitality, beauty, and fragility that emerge in the formation of new spaces for life: plant, animal, personal, and social. She loves goats, chocolate, and bluesy jazz. Sina Schneider
Sina’s craftmanship is founded on folklore, feminism, and a pure punk DIY ethos with origins in farming, urban gardening, and her main interest, herb folklore. Simone is considered an expert in gluten-free and Paleo recipe development after two decades as a restaurant and special diets catering chef. Her blog, zenbelly.com, is a source of tried-and-true recipes ranging from basic to extravagant. She is the author of The Zenbelly Cookbook, The New Yiddish Kitchen (with coauthor Jennifer Robins), and Paleo Soups and Stews.
Signe Gabriel
Signe is an artist and illustrator living and working in Copenhagen. She is inspired by everyday life, nature, traditions, patterns, old porcelain and textiles, and the world of children. Sharon Tollefson
Sharon Tollefson is passionate about our connection to the natural world and has been exploring the inner and outer wild landscapes for twenty years. She is cofounder of Women’s Reclamation and Renewal, where she guides women on epic journeys in nature to reveal more about themselves and the gifts they have to share with the world. Sharon is also the program director for Wilderness Youth Project, a nonprofit dedicated to nature connection, curious passion, and lifelong learning. Sharon embodies a vision of humanity that embraces a holistic life of mutual interdependence within community. She lives in Goleta, California, with her husband and two children.
Shari Altman
Shari Altman is a writer, photographer, and administrative assistant, who lives in rural Vermont with her husband, three cats, seven chickens, and a few hives of bees. She is the co-founder of Literary North, an organization that provides a carefully selected calendar of literary events in Vermont and New Hampshire and partners with the local literary community to promote and host literary-related events. For the past several years, she has had a quarterly column in Amirisu magazine. Lately, she's all about dahlias, fried okra, her monthly writing group, and weekend trips to New York City.

Shannon is a mixed-media artist, writer, photographer and farmer, navigating the wilderness of modern life from a Little House in the Young Woods of southern Vermont. His portfolio features a distinguished client list that includes well-known clothing designers, magazines and celebrities. Sebastian's most recent work has appeared in advertising campaigns and magazines throughout the world. When he's not traveling, he loves to be home with his beautiful wife, photographing her hand knits.
Schirin Oeding
Schirin is a farming writer (or vice-versa) going to graduate school for ecological agriculture in Germany. Her home turf expands from the Swiss Alps and Swabia to northern Vermont and southern Ontario. She currently lives on a tiny dairy farm in a small village and rides her bike to class through a well-groomed German forest.
Sarah Waldman
Sarah fell in love with food while playing “cooking show” with her little sister in the 1980s. Now she spends her time being a mother, food writer, and recipe developer. As a health-focused home cook, Sarah develops and offers recipes for simple, whole-food meals appropriate for every member of the family. Sarah's work has been featured in Real Simple, Edible Vineyard, Food52, The Coastal Table, and Parents Magazine. Sarah lives on Martha’s Vineyard with her husband and two boys. Her cookbook, Feeding a Family: A Real-Life Plan for Making Dinner Work, hit the shelves in 2017.
