Jen Hewett
Jen Hewett is a printmaker, surface designer, textile artist and teacher. Jen and her dog Gus live in San Francisco, two blocks from Golden Gate Park, and three miles from the Pacific Ocean.
Jen’s first book, Print, Pattern, Sew: Block Printing Basics + Simple Sewing Projects for an Inspired Wardrobe, will be published by Roost Books in May 2018.

Jen Altman
Jen is a photographer and author born in Oakland, California and raised among the cornfields of Omaha, Nebraska. Her enlistment with the US Navy set her salty soul across the Atlantic, roaming the ancient lands of Europe and the Middle East. Now settled in North Carolina with her husband and three daughters, she’s currently working on her fourth book about traveling lands much closer to home.
Janisse Ray
Janisse is a writer, naturalist, activist and author of the award-winning The Seed Underground: A Growing Revolution to Save Food, an introspection on seeds and the future of food. Among other books, Janisse wrote Ecology of a Cracker Childhood, a memoir about growing up on a junkyard in the Southern pine flatwoods. She lives on a farm in southern Georgia.
Ivy Scherbarth
Ivy is a nonfiction writer and blogger from Fort Collins, Colorado. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, playing outside, and having everyday adventures. Her blog, www.LivingDuchenne.com, is about thriving with a catastrophic diagnosis in the family. She believes in self-advocacy, fairies, and looking on the bright side.
Indrani Perera
Indrani is a maker, writer, and explorer. She is determined to learn as many traditional crafts as she can and also teaches barefoot-shoe-making workshops. Hudson Gardner
Hudson is a freelance photographer, writer, and web developer. He's based in Portland, Oregon, but often exploring the west on foot or on bike. His current work focuses on people's connection with nature. It includes profiles, non-fiction, and fiction short stories. His writing and photography offer a break from the fast-paced modern world. Holly Ward Bimba
Holly is the artist behind Golly Bard. Her watercolor paintings are a quirky mix of imagery inspired by the curiosities of nature, time, the cycle of life, patterns, natural history, things in jars, garden maps, portraits and wallpaper. Holly Bellebuono
Holly connects plants with people. She directs the award-winning Vineyard Herbs Teas and Apothecary on Martha’s Vineyard and the Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine. She is the author of several books about herbal medicine and women’s empowerment, including The Essential Herbal for Natural Health and Women Healers of the World.
Hilary Dahl
Hilary lives in Seattle, Washington where she works as a photographer, urban farmer and yoga instructor. You can usually find her in the garden with a trowel, camera and cup of freshly roasted coffee. Her photography is in many publications including the book Food Grown Right, In Your Backyard. Hilary lives with her husband and young son on two-and-a-half acres in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. Harriet Goodall
Harriet is a communications graduate from rural New South Wales, Australia, whose welded and woven creations reflect the patina and colors of that landscape. When not traveling to teach basketry, with her hairy farmer husband she raises two kids, a wild array of animals, and plenty of bees on a coastal escarpment that is far greener than the country of her heart.
