Call for makers!

Taproot is seeking vendors for a curated Maker's Market in collaboration with our friends at Wing & a Prayer Farm. We are looking for vendors with high quality, handcrafted goods including, but not limited to pottery, jewelry, prints, paper goods, fiber crafts, and herbal products. The market is open to the public (with a suggested $5 donation for entry) and will take place alongside Wing & A Prayer’s Open Farm Day, prior to Ballet Vermont’s ticketed Farm to Ballet event later that evening.

Application Process

To apply to participate as a vendor, please send the following information to: rachel@taprootmag.com

  • Contact info: name, email, address

  • Description of your product(s)/business

  • Link to your website, Etsy page, and/or social media pages that include samples of your work

Submission Deadline: June 24

We will be accepting applications and making selections* on a rolling basis, so the sooner you get in touch, the better!

*To provide the best experience for vendors and attendees, the market will feature a small number of vendors with a variety of goods and styles—due to these constraints, we are unable to include all applicants.

Vendor Fee

$100 to participate—this helps to cover the costs and labor involved in organizing and promoting the event. Details will be provided upon acceptance.

Booth Spaces

The market will be held in and around the barn, with distancing encouraged in indoor spaces.

It is up to you how to fill up your space. Indoor vendors will be set-up inside the barn and will require tables (6-8 ft recommended). Outdoor vendors will require tents as well. A limited number of tables and/or tents may be available for use -- we will coordinate with vendors on a case-by-case basis upon acceptance into the market.

Vendors will have access to the space for set up beginning at 9:30 am Sunday morning.
