In a field of mesclun greens someone said “editorial freelancer,” and a yurt-dwelling farmhand had found her calling. A year later, Amy Chamberlain was entrusted with her first project. Over the sixteen years since, Amy has edited hundreds of books and about two thousand articles for publishers such as Shambhala Publications, Chronicle Books, Pearson Education, and Maine Home and Design magazine. Self-publishers have been finding her lately as well, which has been delightful. She lives in Maine with her artist husband and her three-year-old, who is a total goober.
