Zero-Waste Dish Soap Bar
Ditch that bottle. This zero-waste dish soap is long-lasting, effective, and plastic-free!
To use, store on a dish beside your sink. Rub gently with a dish cloth or scrub brush for washing up. Don’t expect bubbles like you get from the bottle, but do count on sparkling clean dishes and a light, nontoxic lather. For best results rinse dishes with hot water. (Also makes an excellent stain-stick for laundry!)
Ingredients: saponified oils of *coconut and *olive; sea salt, french green clay, and sweet orange essential oil.
In the spirit of zero waste, dish soap bars are shipped nearly packaging-free, with a small cover and sheet of instructions for use, printed on recycled paper.
4-oz bar -- One bar will replace up to 2 bottles of dish soap.
Meet the Maker: Lusa Organics
LuSa Organics is the brainchild of Rachel and Pete Wolf. LuSa Organics began its journey as Queen Bee's Earthly Delights in 1997. Their business (then an oversized hobby) was threatening to take over their home and life while Rachel worked full time as an environmental educator and her husband Pete worked as a solar system electrician. They changed their name to LuSa Organics in 2008 to combine their baby and body care products under a single cohesive line. At the same time, they took their products to a new level with organic ingredients. Their business orbits their children’s lives as they live, work, play, and unschool together each day. Their intention is to leave the world a better, happier, and yes, cleaner, place for their work, so LuSa is inspired by all kids, not just their own. LuSa Organics and the Wolf clan are based in Viroqua, Wisconsin — arguably the most magical small town on earth.
