DIY Rabbit Pocket Pal Kit

This kit includes a hand-carved block printed heart on a 5 x 7" piece of tea-dyed organic cotton/hemp fabric, 5 colors of embroidery floss (black, soft pink, turquoise, ochre, and coral), a hand sewing needle, a guide to basic stitches, and photo inspiration. Use the finished piece as a: patch, pocket, wall hanging, card, gift, quilt piece, pillow, shrine. Skill level: advanced beginner.

Meet the Maker: Kata Golda
Kata Golda is a craft studio in the mossy seaside town of Port Townsend, WA run by Taproot Contributor Alison Kaplan.  The business is named after Alison’s great grandmothers who laid the foundation for hand work in her family. Kata Golda preserves and promotes crafts such as needlework, letterpress, pottery, hand-dyed textiles, stitched felt and bookbinding. Alison finds inspiration for her work in the woods, farmlands and beaches of her Pacific Northwest wonderland.
