The lucet is an ancient tool used to make a strong square woven cord using only one strand. The size of the fiber used with the lucet determines the size of the finished cord. The lucet is hand sanded to an extremely fine finish, assuring a smooth surface to prevent snags or pulls in your yarn. A hand-rubbed beeswax finish brings out the natural beauty of the wood. Written instructions are provided with each Lucet. Plus, there are multiple tutorials available at www.stephenwillette.com/lucet. Due to its handcrafted nature, there may be slight variations in wood color and size.

Material suggestions you can use with your lucet:
Any yarn (lace weight to rug yarn), Roving, Ribbon, Embroidery Floss, Crochet thread, Clothesline, String, Para-cord, Cloth strips sewn together, Light weight wire, Leather cording

Uses for the Lucet: Replacement for an i-cord, Cording for clothes, Lanyards, Trim work, Necklace, Bracelet, Belt, Shoelace, Hat Band, Pet Leash/collar
