This sweet little sewing kit keeps all of your mending essentials tucked inside an organic cotton/hemp pouch. The pouch is machine and hand-stitched out of plant-dyed fabric and can be wrapped closed with hand-twisted silk rope. A pair of 2.5 inch sharp black sewing scissors is kept safe inside a machine-stitched wool felt case that is embellished with hand-stitched decorations. The booklet has two organic cotton/hemp pages and one wool felt page and holds embroidery floss, sewing pins, straight pins and safety pins.

Kata Golda is a craft studio in the mossy seaside town of Port Townsend, WA run by Alison Kaplan. The business is named after Alison’s great grandmothers who laid the foundation for hand work in her family. A flourishing business, Kata Golda preserves crafts such as needlework, letterpress, pottery, hand-dyed textiles, stitched felt and bookbinding. Alison finds inspiration for her work in the woods, farmlands and beaches of her Pacific Northwest wonderland.
