Justin Michael Provatas Honeywell
Justin grew up in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Spent much of his childhood wandering the temperate rainforest of western Washington. In 2000 he attended his first tracking club hosted by the Wilderness Awareness School and this lauched him deeply into the world of tracking, awareness and survival skills. In 2002, he attended Evergreen State College receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Field Ecology in 2006. During that time, in 2004-2005, he attended Wilderness Awareness School’s Anake 9-Month program. In 2006 he attended The Tracker School’s Standard Course. Since then he has spent the last 8 years honing his skills. In 2014, he headed to New Jersey to take three more week long intensives at the Tracker School. A fter 4 years of practice and dirt time, he and his wife founded Fertile Underground Nature School, a nature connection school based out of the Pacific Northwest offering online courses.
