Oxide Watercolor Travel Tin
The Oxide Palette; A handmade watercolor travel set with colors Red Iron, Ultramarine, Yellow Iron, Black Iron, Viridian, and Titanium. These are eco-friendly watercolors made by hand and stored in bottle caps. All caps are collected from local businesses in Wichita, Kansas or mailed in from eco-art enthusiasts. They are cleaned, treated with an eco-friendly water-based rust remover, then the caps are pressed into their standard shape. The paint is made with pure pigment and a binder consisting of Honey, Gum Arabic, and Water.
Cracking is natural in the drying process and does not affect the quality of the paint. Each cap is unique and will have their own defined features. Measured out, the caps hold more paint than the plastic Full and Half Pans. Each cap will come with a magnet attached. Paint may vary from pictures, true color may look different on different devices and different monitors.
