Dani Lavoire is a mother, midwife, home funeral educator, passionate public speaker, writer, and homesteader. Her deepest hopes lie in helping to create strong communities through transforming people’s experiences of trauma. She comes to this work because of a strong need to live life in the liminal spaces and to walk with others seeking comfort in unfamiliar territory. At home her passion is food: growing it, butchering it, curing it, and canning it. Dani is humbly aware that, in spite of all her aspirations, she spends most of her time washing dishes.
