We are so pleased to be donating a portion of the proceeds from this year’s calendar to Cultivating Community.
Founded in 2001, Cultivating Community promotes food as well as social and environmental justice by advancing sustainable agriculture entrepreneurship, leadership development for adult and teen food growers, and Maine and New England’s robust and expanding local foods market. Cultivating Community operates the New American Sustainable Agriculture Project, the largest land-based farmer training program in Maine. As well as providing community, this program provides resources, training and support for farmers and prospective farmers who are refugees and immigrants.
